After Rejection By South Africa Chidimma Adetshina Wins Miss Universe Africa and Oceania For Nigeria

Chidimma Adetshina, a 23-year-old model and entrepreneur, is unquestionably one of the most popular competitors for 2024 Miss Universe. Chidimma was born in Soweto to a Nigerian father, and a Mozambican mother. On November 16, 2024, in the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Chidimma Adetshina successfully competed as a representative of Nigeria in Miss Universe 2024. Adetshina finished first runner-up out of 126 competitors. The competition was won by Victoria Kjaer Theilvig of Denmark, and the second runner-up was María Fernanda Beltrán of Mexico. As the first Nigerian to win the title of Miss Universe Africa and Oceania, she made history.She also accomplished the incredible feat of being the first Nigerian to finish as the Miss Universe pageant's first runner-up.
