Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg, crowned Miss World South Africa 2024, has been honored with the Best Designer Dress – Africa award at the 72nd Miss World pageant in Hyderabad, India. This award recognizes the exceptional design and cultural representation of her ensemble, showcasing South Africa’s rich heritage and fashion prowess.
Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg was crowned Miss World South Africa 2024 on October 5, 2024, at the age of 18, making her the second-ever titleholder of this national pageant. Even before winning the Miss World South Africa 2024 title, she had already distinguished herself as a digital and marketing executive at Scuderia Ferrari South Africa—a rare achievement for someone her age. Her professionalism, poise, and visionary mindset turned heads long before she stepped onto the global stage.
But what truly set Zoalize apart was her passion for youth empowerment and mental health advocacy. She founded the Never Too Young To Advocate (NTYTA) initiative, a digital platform aimed at empowering young people to speak up, share their experiences, and build mental resilience. Through storytelling, education, and digital outreach, Zoalize has created a space where youth feel seen, heard, and supported.
Her moment of global recognition came when she won the Best Designer Dress – Africa award. Dressed in a masterpiece that fused modern elegance with traditional South African flair, Zoalize not only wowed the judges but also showcased the richness of African design to a global audience.
